From Software Architect to a Tent
The Origins
I was born in Vicenza, Italy, and studied at the University of Padua. I started working in the IT field during my military service and eventually owned my own software house. I was also an artist, mainly painting oil on canvas, but I also dealt with photography and various types of artistic creations. I lived in the countryside in a large family; the village was small and I wanted to live in a freer environment. So, in the early 2000s, I moved to a very nice little house with stone walls in the Euganean Hills. I had cut off all ties with my country and my family. Things had started to go well; I was financially independent and my market prospects were bright.
Prologue: The Mechanical Martyrdom
Once, I could not understand how it was possible for so many Jews to be killed in concentration camps. I wondered how it was possible that, being so many, they did not revolt against the general nonsense of their extermination. Today, everything is clear to me. I have seen a society that is habituated to accept anything; I shout, and no one does anything. I no longer feel like a man, and I no longer react because I have learned that it is all useless.
I have felt my forces being drained, the impossibility of escape, and the cruelty of a death that does not arrive before one has suffered enough. It seems that one lives all this as if it were just, searching for a justice that does not exist or that never arrives. We forget that we are men or women; we accept martyrdom because we want it to end, or as the only possible solution.
If Christ were to return to this earth today, they would crucify him every single day. Evil repeats itself mechanically, and man sleeps a deep sleep while bureaucracy performs unheard-of horrors. I stand before an impassive humanity, directed only toward its own affairs, blind to the pain of others as time simply passes.
This documentation is the testament of my digital and civil death.
From Software Architect to a tent
During the period between 2000 and 2004, I WAS FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT AND THERE WERE MANY GOOD PROSPECTS FOR MY SOFTWARE HOUSE MARKET. BUT SOMETHING CHILLING FROM MY VILLAGE HAD HOOKED ME AND WAS OPERATING TO DESTROY MY NEW LIFE AND BRING ME BACK TO WHERE I WAS BORN.
In 2004, to defend myself I began to describe the delicate situations I had lived through and of which I had memories. I described some personal situations but also the environment in which these things had happened and the important and strange friendships that connected some people I knew to important environments.
In 2004, I sought assistance from the State by submitting reports and complaints Public Prosecutor's Office. However, numerous documents were mysteriously intercepted, and no genuine effort was made to investigate their disappearance or identify the culprits. The burden of this situation fell entirely upon Giovanna and myself, leaving us to confront an invisible enemy alone (see SelfDefense Site).

THE TURNING POINT OF 2005
At that time my home was in the Euganean Hills. The events that unfolded after submitting the documents to the State in 2004 were so severe that we were forced to flee our home in May 2005 to save our lives. Initially, we thought we'd only be away for a few months, but things quickly escalated. We stored all files into a Notebook and we escaped. (at left a my pencil detail ).
We lost everything and never returned. Only in September 2005, we decided to begin to publicly document online the events that were destroying us. Our lives became a constant cycle of moving from place to place, as every hope for a new beginning was followed by being tracked down and experiencing a new wave of negative events that forced us to flee again and seek new refuge. It was a truly horrific ordeal. The SelfDefense computer was always with me in my backpack from 2005 to 2014. With this computer I created all the contents up to that date.
The first historical 'SelfDefense' notebook was a Packard Bell Easy Note, equipped with a 45 GB hard drive, a DVD-ROM reader/writer, Windows XP, and 512 MB of RAM. This computer was always with me in my backpack from 2005 to 2014. With this machine, I created all the digital contents produced up to that date.

Before entering the "Turning Point of 2005" and the years spent in a tent and makeshift shelters, it is essential to document the foundation of my professional expertise. The following section describes the work I completed as a Software Architect and Lead Developer during my time as a successful entrepreneur. This system, which I will simply refer to as MES, was my most significant engineering achievement—a proprietary, high-availability ecosystem built from the ground up to govern complex industrial environments.
My First “Content” was just a software!
Prior to 2005, I dedicated nearly a decade to designing and developing a comprehensive Manufacturing Execution System (MES). This was not a generic software package but a mission-critical "industrial engine" designed for 24/7 operation in high-cadence manufacturing environments. Born from years of "fango in fabbrica" (grit on the shop floor) and thousands of hours of testing alongside operators and plant managers, the system served as a Single Source of Truth for the entire production facility.
I engineered this architecture to bridge the divide between low-level hardware (OT) and high-level management logic (IT). At its peak, the system comprised over 320,000 lines of source code and dozens of interconnected applications.
1)Core Architectural Pillars
High-Availability Distributed Design: Using out-of-process DCOM servers, I isolated hardware drivers into separate memory spaces. This ensured that if a physical communication line failed, the core engine remained stable and could automatically restart the driver without data loss.
In-Memory "Digital Twin": To bypass the bottlenecks of traditional relational databases, I modeled the entire factory floor—machines, work orders, cycles, and materials—as a live graph of objects in RAM. This allowed for real-time calculations and instantaneous user feedback.
Asynchronous Multi-threaded Persistence: I implemented a Producer-Consumer pattern to offload database writes to background threads. The data acquisition engine was never blocked by disk I/O or network latency.
2)Integrated Functional Modules
Near Real-Time Engine: The central nervous system for asynchronous polling and data acquisition from industrial machinery.
Advanced Planning: A predictive scheduling engine utilizing heuristic algorithms ("Go Back To End") to manage complex production Gaps and transition matrices for tooling and color changes.
Quality Assurance: A mathematical subsystem implementing Six Sigma methodologies. It performed real-time Statistical Process Control (SPC), calculating Cp/Cpk indices and generating dynamic control charts.
Laboratory (Business Intelligence): A data storytelling laboratory that treated production history as a "film," allowing managers to scroll through shifts frame-by-frame with synchronized visual analytics.
HMI: A ruggedized shop-floor interface optimized for barcode-driven workflows and auditory feedback for glove-wearing operators.
3)Technological Achievement: The Universal Gateway
One of my most strategic successes was bypassing the closed monopolies of machinery vendors. When vendors refused to cooperate with communication protocols, I designed a proprietary hardware gateway. This device converted raw electrical signals (relays and pulses) into structured digital logic, allowing me to integrate 30-year-old legacy machines into a modern SQL-based ecosystem within hours.

This concludes the overview of my architectural work. My professional journey as a software architect was abruptly interrupted at the end of 2004 by the series of traumatic events and workplace threats that eventually forced me to abandon everything I had built.
However, in the months preceding that collapse, while I was still refining the MES architecture, I stumbled upon an extraordinary historical discovery right in the area where I lived. This find, which occurred just a few months before the end of 2004, provided a vital sense of focus amidst the gathering storm and led me into the research that I will detail in the next point
“Memorie” website
Back in 2004, One year before our escape from the Euganean Hills, Giovanna and I made an amazing discovery. We found out that some really significant spiritual people had been born right where we lived, but their stories had been forgotten. t was like finding a hidden treasure! So, we started digging deeper, excited to share what we found w ith others.
This discovery transpired a few months prior to the workplace threats we experienced, prompting us to petition the state for assistance. Consequently, this discovery partially offset the negative circumstances by providing an engaging and positive focal point.
We wanted to spread the word without drawing too much attention to ourselves. So, between 2004 and 2005, we spent countless hours in libraries, researching and writing. We shared our findings through letters and by creating websites. Our first websites were on Aruba and digilander servers (digilander.libero.it/memorie dismissed in 2026).
We used the pseudonyms Pulciko and Giannina. A few years later, we even made a twin site on Altervista.org.

Notes
The discovery is mentioned on pages 13, 100 and 101 of “The 2010 BlackCat Dossier” as a starting point for understanding universal fascism. The research itself was not about fascism! However, situation led the authors to uncover the influence of a Venetian circle connected to fascism.
My seemingly unrelated research on the Blessed Beatrice I, II and III became a catalyst for a journey of discovery that unveiled a complex network of power and influence.

The “AutoDifesa Self-Defense” website
The "Autodifesa Self-Defense" (ASD) project was officially launched in late September 2005 in the same year of “Memorie”. Its creation was a forced necessity: after months spent living in a tent under extreme conditions, it had become undeniable that no magistrate or state authority would act upon the numerous formal complaints and reports filed since 2004.
Faced with institutional silence and the systematic disappearance of files within the Rome Prosecutor’s Office , the website became my "virtual defense lawyer". Through this platform, I began to publicly document every event, abuse, and judicial anomaly in real-time. To support testimony, I published copies of official documents—such as receipts for registered letters, police reports, faxes, and decrees—applying pixelation only to the most sensitive parts or names that could not be disclosed for legal reasons, while maintaining the full evidentiary value of the material.
Crucially, the project has never stopped being updated over the last twenty years. It remains one of the fundamental and primary sources of documentation even today, serving as a resilient archive for our entire judicial and human ordeal. In addition to the website, there is a multimedia dossier version of the project: a massive document transformed into a 364-page A4 PDF, which compiles the core evidence and narratives into a structured, book-like format for international accessibility and preservation.

Umbrian newspaper
To give you an idea of that transitional period: in June 2005 we escaped from Padua, we spent the whole summer in a tent, starting in October we lived on the shores of Lake Iseo and in March 2006 we left Lake. We stayed in Assisi until August 2006, then we lived for two months in Bastia Umbra, then in Trevi, Gubbio and Città di Castello. From Città di Castello I arrived in Terni in the last days of 2006. In March 2007 it finally seemed that things
would change thanks to the interest of the State Police and the press.
I n 2007 we found a police inspector who wanted to help us. According to him, it was necessary to involve the social services of the municipality and to do this it was necessary to involve public opinion. He called a journalist and asked to write an article in the newspaper. We went to the journalist and the article came out in the photo.

The Odyssey of Matteo and Giovanna, from Successful Entrepreneurs to Homeless
TERNI - The step from thriving new economy entrepreneurs to homeless is not a short one. There is an abyss of loneliness and despair into which two young people from Vicenza have fallen, arriving in the city after a thousand ordeals. The story of Matteo and Giovanna a husband and wife of 38 and 36 years old respectively, is a succession of highs and lows with many points that are still not entirely clear.
In the background, a difficult adolescence, mysteries, and faint memories of strange esoteric sects. Matteo and Giovanna don't want to talk about it. The present is too difficult to even think about the past. In ten days, they will be kicked out by Caritas and will find themselves back on the streets without a cent. The two met a few years ago in a small town on the outskirts of the Venetian city. But it's a union that doesn't please their respective families. "They did everything to separate us. We have been through all sorts of experiences," they recount. "We even tried to move to England in 2006, but it didn't work out. We ended up in Brescia. But things didn't get better there either. They had declared us civilly dead. They had burned the earth around us. We asked for help from the carabinieri, but after a while, we had to give up again. A persecution that is hard to believe. "Our business suffered greatly from this. We had a company that dealt with IT systems. We had contracts for tens of thousands of euros. But suddenly something went wrong. Our paperwork, the two former entrepreneurs continue, didn't go through and the banks started to close the taps. In a short time, we found ourselves without an office and our company collapsed. We also lost our home and from one day to the next, we found ourselves wandering around Italy. In a tent, with a sleeping bag, and without a cent in our pocket. Forced to ask for help from soup kitchens and Caritas dormitories. But Giovanna and Matteo are not fools. They have run a company and she even has a degree. And so they decide to seek justice from the judiciary. "We sent reports to the Prosecutors of Padua and Vicenza and a long letter to the President of the Republic. But no one replied. When we go to inquire at the chancelleries of the judicial offices," they continue, "they tell us that no practice has ever been filed in our name."
In the meantime, between one shelter and another, Matteo and Giovanna arrive in Terni. "We want to start over here," they tell the journalist. But it won't be easy. For now, they live in two separate rooms in Rocca San Zenone and at Casa Parrabbi. Guests of Caritas for another ten days. Then we'll see.

The 2007 “Matteoegiovanna” website of April
After the 2006 March article came out, I made a new website telling the story in "matteoegiovanna" web pages. This site did not report all the facts included in Self Defense, but only some to avoid the reader from the heaviness of the situation detailed in “Autodifesa”.
However, this attempt led nowhere. The site was later abandoned and the content was copied inside "Self Defense". After Libero.it closure of their hosting servers also this website disappeared definitely .
The 2007 Matthew Tosatti appeal
The 2007 March newspaper article and the website "matteoegiovanna" had not solved our situation.
So I tried to make an appeal in English. My English was poor because I no longer remembered the rules, however I tried to draw cartoons that explained the situation clearly and concisely.
At that time, I lived in the shelter for the poor and had to be out and about all day. I had a backpack on my shoulders and inside I hid my laptop and digital camera. So, I drew the cartoons in a notebook, then I photographed them and made slides that I then used to create a video with MovieMaker for Windows.
The video was inserted into Yahoo web pages, then
into the pages of "Autodifesa Self-Defense" and was also uploaded to Youtube in September 2007.
On purpose I created two accounts: "MatthewTosatti" and “MatthewNews”.

Along with the videos I also wrote several letters in English asking for help. I remember writing to American President Obama too. Recently I reload some old videos into my latest YouTube account (@Qexxis) and re-rendered them. All videos are listed in appendix.

The Unico (October 2007)
Neither the March 2006 article nor the September video appeals produced any results.
During that period, I happened to come across some English-language articles from Executive Intelligence Review. These articles contained information that was completely new to me and provided the key to understanding many of the events that had unfolded in my life.
I began to create new videos, which I titled "Unico videos." The symbol I used was an inverted photo of the "Beatrice" tornado with an eye. I used a photo of "Beatrice" because the Executive Intelligence Review pages I had found were the result of a search for information on the Blessed Beatrice II in a book published by the Cini Foundation of Venice. While searching for information on the foundation and its founder, Vittorio Cini, I discovered very important articles on Universal Fascism and its roots in Venice.
These videos link certain aspects of Italian and international history to my personal experiences, providing new reasons why my complaints disappeared in the Public Prosecutor's Office.
Initially I uploaded the videos directly to the "Autodifesa" web space and then to @MatthewTosatti's channel. Later I created a new specific channel called "UniqueWarn" because the videos warned of a return of fascism. In the following years I created other episodes.
The videos were also published on the "FrancisWay" channel. On August 6, 2010, close to a very serious event, all the videos were published again on brucepickert70's channel ( www.youtube.com/@brucepickert70/videos ).
FrancisWay's channel was then closed. Instead, MatthewTosatti's account was lost due to an error. If you can no longer log in, it will likely be deleted within two years under Google's new rules.
The Unico Web Page:
"The Unico Series" presents a complex narrative alleging the existence of powerful, interconnected networks operating beyond public scrutiny. The authors implicate these networks in historical events, financial manipulation, and acts of violence, linking them to a broader agenda of establishing a "Universal Fascism." They also claim their attempts to expose these networks have been met with systematic censorship and suppression. The 2008 “Corinzi” website
On various occasions I have used mirror sites.
“Corinzi” was a twin site of "Autodifesa" until 2008 when I decided not to update it anymore. The twin sites were useful in case the main one was blocked.
It remained online unchanged on February 21, 2008 and is useful for understanding the situation at that time, a few weeks after leaving Umbria with an unknown destination. In 2026 all Digilander web sites were dismissed, so now it is only into my backups.
Escape from Umbria
In November 2007, while I was creating the videos for the "Unico" series, I almost died from a severe infection. Giovanna lost her job in Terni, and we went through hell. We couldn't find a way out of that situation. All the potential opportunities from the newspaper article and the appeals for help had disappeared. The problems we had faced in Veneto had spread to Umbria, sabotaging all our attempts. So, broke and without a real destination, we set off again. We headed to the eastern region of Abruzzo on March 2008.
The 2008 website “Ad Oriente”
In Abruzzo we created a new site.
"Ad Oriente" website is a simplified elaboration and focused only on some problems exposed in "Autodifesa".
It was created in Pescara** at the same time as sending a complaint to the Police Headquarters of that city. The head of the DIGOS (Divisione investigazioni generali e operazioni speciali) , who we later met at the Police Headquarters, had expressed the intention of having all our complaints filed elsewhere converge there. We did not stay long in Pescara because we found neither work nor assistance.
** Pescara was the birthplace of the poet Gabriele D’Annunzio.
This project was created only for Police headquarters in Pescara, as the other Libero.it videos, it died on 9 june 2026.
a year in the Marche region
In the Marche region, a wealthy family helped us. Giovanna found a summer job as a waitress. It was the youngest member of the family, a newly graduated engineer doing volunteer work, who helped us. Later, he told us that we were part of his project to heal his relationship with his family and to show himself involved in social activities. In reality, over time, it became a real nightmare. Not only had he taken a liking to Giovanna in other ways, but he also vented all his problems on us. Then, once he passed the state exam for his profession, he no longer needed us and discarded us.
In any case, during that period, I managed to organize two important documents: the storyboard and the document about the scams and stalking we had suffered in Veneto at the hands of an entrepreneur. It's worth noting that since we had left Veneto, we had never had time to organize such documentation. But in the Marche, we lived in an apartment for several months, which gave us the opportunity to organize all those files we had brought with us from home.
In March 2009, we left the Marche and went to file the extensive work we had done during the winter months at the police station in Terni: the stalking report (20th March) and the storyboard (1st April).
The 2009 Stalker report
On March 20, 2009, we filed a stalking complaint against the person who had ruined our company and who continued to stalk us even though we had fled Padua. The complaint collected the last emails sent to us by the Stalker on December 2008 and all the files, letters and communications that concerned him starting from the 2000s. It also traced his profile and other facts that concerned him and how he had illegally appropriated property that was not his.
On December we published a public version of main document concerned Stalker report inside ASD. For the occasion we replaced the real names with pseudonyms in the version published on autodifesa
Four months in Florence
After leaving the Marche region in 2009 and after having filed the complaint in Terni and the archive called "Storyboard” (March, 2009). we spent 4 months in Tuscany. Here we did some work, but we didn't find anything else and we were forced to leave again at the end of July 2009.
The 2009 Francis’ Way website
Francis Way was another attempt to find interest during our period in Tuscany. The material consisted of a website and new 4 videos on YouTube plus 4 old videos belonging to Unico’s series.This is what the home page looked like:

BlackSea (Marenero)
We arrived in “Marenero” in search of fortune at the end of July 2009 after Lombardy, Umbria, Abruzzo, Marche, Tuscany. In our backpack the inevitable computer that we had bought before leaving in 2006 at the shopping center in Monselice – Padua, with all the documents in digital format and what we had been able to save. As with all the previous places, here too the same problems always arose and so we found ourselves almost immediately asking for help from the authorities. The authorities of these places were not at all friendly! Despite all these not very reassuring premises it seemed that something could move or that we would find a way. In any case we had no choice.
We always hoped for a new life, for the meeting of some person who would make us return to a normal life with a job and a place to live. Things that we had more or less hoped for in Lombardy as in Umbria, in the Marche or in Abruzzo. But every time something got in the way.
In this territory the initial situation was even worse than the previous ones especially regarding the human side and the police with an unsocial and unopen mentality. So the carabinieri and the police were quite trained in recognizing every "different" person as a criminal or delinquent. And we, not having a job and in those conditions of poverty were already considered by "default" in that way.
There was no possibility of dialogue or in any case we never found people able to face or understand a story like ours.
We lived here for a year, without money and without a cell phone, scavenging food in hotels.But the following years were even worse.

The 2009 “Screening” papers
In 2009, I was sure that no authority had explained the reason why I had left the house and I was unreachable at that address in VENETO, so I decided to write a detailed document to send to the Police Headquarters where I lived and to the offices of the Prosecutor's Office of Padua.
Thus "Screening" was born.
Nowadays Screening is available inside Autodifesa documentation and into Box.com as pdf file.
From original "Screening" I created also a public document version in which I replaced the names with fictitious ones and published it in a new website address into digilander webspace.
The 2010 BlackCat Dossier
After completing Screening, Giovanna and I thought it was appropriate to write another document outlining the environment that had contributed to creating our situation. Thus "The BlackCat" was born.
Originally the document has 209 Pages but there is also a special version for Autodifesa that has 169 pages.
"BlackCat.pdf" is a document detailing the authors' experiences with organized crime and powerful networks in the Veneto region of Italy. It alleges connections between local crime, national political figures, and international intelligence agencies, claiming these groups worked to suppress the authors' investigations into historical events and their own legal cases. The document cites numerous individuals and events, linking them to alleged conspiracies and cover-ups, including the "Strategy of Tension" and Gladio operation. It explores themes of censorship, mafia influence, and the abuse of power within Italian institutions. Supporting evidence is referenced from external documents and sources.
The document was written between 2009 and 2010. But it was only made public a few years later.Nowadays the document is also inside Autodifesa. This document was attached to numerous other documents and emails in order to provide a background of the scene.
the open-air period
The 2010 traumatic experience
Following the events of August 2010, which included an unjust arrest (ONE DAY) and the subsequent issuance of a wrongful eviction order, my life took a drastically different turn. Despite the eventual removal of the eviction order and the dismissal of the false charges against me, I was unable to reclaim my previous housing. This unfortunate series of events led to a period of homelessness for my wife and I, lasting four years.
The ordeal had a profound impact on my trust in law enforcement. The experience of being wrongfully arrested and treated unfairly created a deep sense of disillusionment. Despite the absence of any legitimate charges against me, I found myself without the support of local authorities such as the mayor or social services. This lack of assistance, coupled with the traumatic experience of being arrested, made it extremely difficult to rebuild my life.
Despite the hardships faced, I was determined to rebuild my life and regain my dignity.
This was one of the worst periods of my life, and it began on the night between the 3rd and 4th of August and lasted for more than 4 years.
During these 4 years, we lived hidden, spending nights in makeshift shelters, trying to escape the crazy and the criminals. During the day, we spent many hours in the library. Here we connected to the internet and used social media profiles to ask for help. I had two separated identities : one local identity directed to village people of “RivieraVerde” called “Comitato Amici Emmegi” and the old international line of ASD - MEMORIE.
I had in my backpack the "Self-defense" computer that contained all our files, and we used it to create content that we then published through the library. We washed ourselves in the bathrooms of a shopping center or in those of the hospital. Shopkeepers and hotels gave us food that was not sold at the end of the day. We were not supported by priests or charitable associations because they were all compromised.
We no longer had valid documents because they had expired. We did not have a health card, and therefore, according to Italian law, we did not even have the legally required doctor. However, we could count on the hospital emergency room.
We spent four years suffering from the cold, loneliness, and persecution by some elements of the police and the carabinieri.
Even in the library, the atmosphere was harsh, and it was a continuous persecution carried out by some people linked to the extreme right and the mafia/ndrangheta.
I lost almost all my teeth.
During this period, I opened other social media profiles and created new websites, but this entire line of operations was separate from the main international "Self-defense" one. This new parallel line did not mention "Self-defense" and only reported local news in order to find a job and help, and did not report all the serious facts of the disappeared reports and Nazism. These sites are not mentioned in these memories because I’m still living in this region.
The 2010 Persecution Facts papers
After August 3rd a very bad period began because we knew that we could no longer count on the Italian police forces and so we began to write about the persecutions we had received directly in English. These documents were written to ask for international help and therefore were written directly in English. They contain the essential data and evidence of the persecution received by the spouses Matteo and Giovanna.

The 2011 “Erinni Case” dossier
This document investigates a historical mystery surrounding the suppressed legacy of three saintly “Beatrice” from the House of Este and their connection to the town of Ferrara (referred to as "Erinni"). The authors, Matteo and Giovanna as The Franceses , detail their research uncovering the deliberate obfuscation of this history, encountering obstruction and persecution in their efforts. Their investigation implicates a powerful, unnamed figure and network connected to historical figures such as Lucrezia Borgia and even Nazi interests in exploiting the area’s spiritual and material resources. The Franceses’ work highlights the suppression of historical information and the ongoing attempts to conceal the truth. The document includes extensive historical background, primary source materials, and visual evidence.
Ultimately, this dossier was far more than a mere research project; it was a desperate attempt to find an audience and a path toward liberation. At the time, we were living as homeless people, spending our nights in makeshift shelters and our days in public libraries to escape the elements. We consciously crafted this work at the intersection of a rigorous criminal dossier and an investigative historical novel, hoping it might fall into the hands of someone—a target different from the usual institutional channels—who would be moved by the mystery and the gravity of our findings. It was a strategic effort to find a way out of our situation, a final hope that where formal legal complaints had been met with silence, the intrigue of suppressed history might finally trigger the support we needed to reclaim our lives.
The 2011 “Arbre du Mal” paper
Giovanna and I wrote this document to make known our personal vision of the mafia phenomenon.
"ArbreDuMal.pdf" explores the multifaceted nature of the Italian Mafia, arguing that it functions not merely as a criminal organization but also as a religio-cultural phenomenon. The text examines the Mafia's religious rituals, its impact on the psychology of its members and their families, and its pervasive influence on Italian society. It further analyzes the Mafia's strategies for maintaining power, including its exploitation of bureaucracy, social services, and vulnerable populations. Finally, it proposes several legal and societal reforms to combat the Mafia's influence.

Written during a period of profound personal turmoil, L’arbre du mal was not born out of mere academic curiosity, but as an act of absolute self-defense and testimony. Giovanna and I drafted this document directly in English to convey our personal, unfiltered vision of the mafia phenomenon—a phenomenon that had actively targeted our lives, dismantled our company, and stripped us of our home, peace, and future. It was, and remains, a defiant shout for help and a refusal to stay silent in the face of an invisible executioner.
6)Core Vision: Beyond Mere Criminality
The central thesis of the document is a radical departure from the traditional definitions of organized crime. While judges, media, and police forces traditionally treat entities like Cosa Nostra, 'Ndrangheta, and Camorra as purely criminal or socioeconomic syndicates, we identified a much deeper, more insidious reality: An Archaic Bloodthirsty Religion: We defined the mafia spirit as a pre-existing, dark background ideology—a primitive, pseudo-religious cult rooted in the ancient Mediterranean basin. It lives in symbiosis with, and perverts, sacred symbols, Christian saints, and holy places, turning good into evil to absolute control the soul, spirit, and mind of its adherents.
A Psychological and Social Mass Disease: The document explores the terrifying educational methods used within mafia families. Through the psychological mechanism of the "double link" (schizofrenic behavioral conditioning) instilled by mothers and ancestors since childhood, new generations are completely brainwashed and denied any true freedom of choice. The mafia, therefore, breeds an army of narcissistic, distorted, and fanatical minds.
The "Refined Mafia" and Bureaucracy: We analyzed how the modern mafia has evolved from the crude use of firearms to the sophisticated manipulation of bureaucracy, "illegal masonry," and high-level social networks (dinners, gifts, and false brotherhood). By infiltrating public offices with incompetent but highly controllable "recommended" individuals, the system paralyzes justice, isolates opponents, and commits "civil murders" without firing a single bullet.

Looking ahead, the document outlines revolutionary legal and social measures required to truly break the chain of generational mafia transmission:
The "Will for Better Living": A proposed legal instrument allowing individuals born into criminal families to officially and secretly renounce their bloodline, geographical origins, and hereditary succession during their lifetime, forcing state authorities to create a protective barrier around their "second life."

The Ghost dossier (2011)
Giovanna and I, under the pseudonyms Bruce and Barbara, wrote this document. The decision to use fictitious names was driven by the desire to maintain a certain anonymity and encourage reading. We wanted our writing to be judged on its content, not on our identity, hoping to reach a wider audience.
We started with Gaius Sallust Crispus ―De coniuratione Catilineae – 40 B.C. The aim was to make people understand how the current Italian situation was comparable to that which occurred in the Roman Empire in 40 AD and described by Gaius.
It was a document in some ways similar to "Black Cat", but written differently and directly in English. It also started with a preface on a sad event that happened in the Roman Empire. This story was meant to make people understand the situation that was repeating itself in Italy.
The 2012 Social Mobbing paper
This document was written in 2011, and we handed it over to the police together with a complaint in 2012.
“This document details the authors' experiences with social mobbing, a form of psychological terrorism extending beyond the workplace. It defines social mobbing, differentiating it from workplace mobbing, and provides a real-life case study of the authors' experiences, including a police report. The authors argue that social mobbing involves a group targeting an individual through subtle, often concealed, actions aimed at social isolation and marginalization. The case study illustrates the bureaucratic obstacles faced by victims in seeking redress and highlights the complicity of various social institutions in perpetuating the abuse. The authors' experience showcases the challenges in identifying and combating social mobbing due to its clandestine nature and the difficulty in establishing a clear cause-and-effect relationship between the attacks and their perpetrators.”

The 2013 mediation of Civicrazia
Finally, a civil rights association in Rome took an interest in our case, but that didn't work either and we continued to live out in the cold.
“Civicrazia” is the Italian coalition of Subjects and over 4000 Associations committed to ensuring that public power is truly at the service of the Citizen. Making “the Citizen Protagonist” is our mission.
Civicrazia wants the citizen to be the protagonist of his own rights, of his social role, of the driving force and control that he is capable of exercising towards public power.
Thursday 28 March 2013 13:50 Civicrazia publishes an interview with Matteo and Giovanna.
The goal is to move the mayor and social services to help Matteo and Giovanna. The association, after having inserted the interview on its website, sends the report to the mayor twice but does not receive any response. So, a formal warning letter is sent to the mayor by registered mail. The mayor does not respond and in July Matteo is convinced to file a complaint against the mayor at the competent Prosecutor's Office. The complaint is filed but no one will contact Matteo and Giovanna and they will continue to live in the area without any help sleeping in the open.
History shows that even though Matteo and Giovanna were supported by an important national association, the authorities did not lift a finger.
The Contardo identity (2013)
Before 2013, the "Memorie" website was dedicated to research on the Beate Beatrici d’Este. There was also a comprehensive article on the censorship that this research had faced on the Autodifesa website. Finally, there was "The Erinni Case" which addressed both the research, the censorship, and other related issues. However, much of the online material continued to contain various historical errors that Giovanna and I had pointed out.
Even the Wikipedia pages were incomplete. So, I updated some information and tried to disseminate it through two Facebook accounts.
I was still homeless, and it was important for me to keep my mind occupied. Therefore, I was always looking for something to do because that life was unbearable. Contributing to culture seemed like a worthwhile endeavor.
In 2013 I created an identity "Contardo Padovano" to update some missing data on Wikipedia regarding the historical figures of the Blessed Beatrice of the House of Este born in Este and Calaone. I did not want to connect my story to historical information. The data I wrote were objective and could be verified in the numerous sources I cited.

This is another attempt to seek support and raise awareness. This time the site is based on the documents of "The 2010 Persecution Facts papers" including two videos and uses cartoons drawn by me.
Including my own drawings and vignettes was a further, deliberate attempt to showcase my abilities as an illustrator. The birth of Matthew Pasini in 2013
Matthew Pasini is the identity I created in 2013. It was yet another attempt to find a community of people who would give support. I opened a social profile on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube, Blog on Wix, and a website on Libero.it.
I opened some pages related to self-defense in Facebook. I started making many posts, writing on various groups, commenting and putting links to make myself known. If someone has the opportunity to go and look at my social media, they will realize how I have not obtained results. It would take a study to understand how the immense effort I have put into these activities has not obtained any results. Evidently social media are not suitable for finding people regarding cases like mine.
Matthew Pasini is also the contact identity reported in "Self-defense" to whom you can send an email. Well, I have never received an email regarding the site! In recent years I have restructured the site and created it responsive also using a nicer layout through CSS style sheets.
Finding Ground: The Transition from Street to Home
Towards the end of 2014 a widow interrupted my period of being homeless and took me into her home. For three years I stopped writing on the internet.
I was stuck in that situation because I had no documents and I couldn't get new ones because I would have needed residency and in that small apartment I couldn't. The woman liked to have me in her grip. After three years she threw me back out onto the street, but Giovanna managed to find a job and pay for a room for me. In 2017 I returned to writing on the internet after three years of silence.

The birth of “A17” Archive
In 2017 I created a new archive of all documents sent and received by the Italian authorities. I classified the various documents and stored the contents in different folders. Previously, a similar work had already been done in the winter between 2008 and 2009, generating what I called "StoryBoard".
Nowadays A17 collects all the documents sent and received.
It contains about 10000 files and metadata.
Obviously, they are original documents and are not published on the internet. In here there are also audio and video that constitute evidence. There are also letters sent to journalists, humanitarian associations and everything that can be considered relevant. The name “A17” derived from Archive 2017, but it was continuously upgraded during years.
The birth of “ASD” Archive
The ASD archive includes a lot of material. In addition to the already mentioned archive A17 it contains the Dossier archive, the internet site archive, the photo and video archive, the historical archive...
ASD collects practically all the related material. The public part is only a small part.ASD is more than 35000 files: it should be noted, however, that many elements are themselves a compressed archive containing many other files.
the return to social life
In 2018, I finally got my residency. My “Carta d’Identità” and sorted out my papers. But living on the streets had taken its toll: I lost my teeth and wasn't exactly presentable for a job. And that whole thing in 2010 had ruined my reputation. Even at the library, they looked at me like I was still homeless.
I had a hernia too, which was really painful. Giovanna, who was pretty sick herself, managed to find a job as a caregiver and paid for me to rent a room.
Then COVID hit and I had to wait ages for my surgery. The building I lived in was a nightmare, with unfriendly neighbors and a roommate who kept to themselves. It wasn't exactly ideal.

Survivors “Sopravvissuti” is the public story of what happened to me updated to 2018. It is based on a restructuring of old documents (in particular “Screening”) with the addition of new information. It has a more narrative structure than the others

WCLID/ BW21 – BrainWashing (2022)
WCLID document demonstrates how the "Rivieraverde System" works, drawing on a real-life work situation at a caregiver agency and the modus operandi of the Rivieraverde system.
This document aims to archive and crystallize the documentary and testimonial evidence relating to three consecutive work assignments proposed and brokered by the WCLID agency to the worker Giovanna. In March 2026, alongside the technical forensic tools, I completed the most ambitious editorial project of my life: A17-Florence. If the Archive is the "body" of the evidence, A17Florence (titled "SOPRAVVISSUTI: La Storia di Matteo e Giovanna") is its "soul" and its voice.
It is a comprehensive, clear-text volume that chronicles our twenty-two-year odyssey from 2004 to 2026. Unlike previous reports, this work was designed to be a definitive and accessible narrative, meticulously cross-referenced with the unique identification codes of the A17 Archive.
A Systematic Structure of Truth
I organized the volume into four distinct parts to provide a complete understanding of the systemic failure we endured:
Context and Synthesis: A flashback to our lives before the collapse, detailing the entrepreneurial rise of our company and the "trap" that triggered the initial persecution.

Conclusion
I've been burned too many times by not saving important stuff I found online. I figured I could always go back to it, but a lot of it just disappears. So, do yourself a favor and don't make the same mistake. If you think what I'm telling you is worth keeping, don't count on me or the internet to always have it.
Conclusion and final considerations
Every event, from the very beginning, has been documented, recorded, and cataloged. I've always hoped for a sudden change in my life, perhaps a chance encounter or a new job. Unfortunately, this never happened, so I've spent a lot of time searching for new ways out of this situation. Inevitably, this has led to the creation of a vast amount of content, all with the elusive goal of breaking the silence surrounding this story. However, if certain events hadn't occurred, I would never have investigated the underlying plots and remained ignorant of the true reality around me. Like many others, I would have been a pawn, convinced that I was the master of my own destiny, when in fact I, like so many others, was simply a person whose future was controlled by others.
With my death all this will be lost because I have not met people to whom I can leave this information that I consider important. Even the websites will disappear because there will be no one to keep them alive, and with the new rules in general the websites will be maintained only if they are managed.
I have also collected information that is no longer found on the internet and that has disappeared. We must not think that the things we find on the internet will still be there tomorrow.
In my life I worked from 1993 to 2005 as a software developer, then all these things happened. Since 2017 I have started studying new technologies again but my age and knowledge gap prevent me from finding new jobs. I know various languages; I still have a lot of experience but I have never worked with new frameworks and I have not found people who value what I have been through.
